Saudi Oud Center Muaiqiliyah

Located within one of Riyadh’s most historically layered commercial districts, the Al-Muaiqiliyah Branch engages directly with the surrounding architectural fabric. The design responds to its environment not through contrast, but through calibrated continuity.

Stone, natural wood, and vintage brass define the material language, establishing a tactile and atmospheric presence aligned with the rhythm of the district. The spatial configuration is clear and intentional, allowing the interior experience to maintain architectural integrity while remaining connected to the energy of its urban setting.

Technology is embedded discreetly within the built form, supporting interaction while preserving material authenticity. This branch does not detach from its surroundings; it participates in them. Through measured refinement and contextual awareness, the project sustains the dialogue between heritage commerce and contemporary architectural expression.

يقع فرع المعيقلية ضمن أحد أكثر الأنسجة العمرانية ارتباطًا بتاريخ تجارة العود في الرياض، ما أتاح للمشروع أن يتعامل مع الموقع بوصفه امتدادًا طبيعيًا لذاكرة المكان.

جاء التصميم محافظًا على وضوحه المعماري، مع حضورٍ أقرب إلى الشارع وإيقاعه، حيث تتداخل الحجرات، والمواد الطبيعية، والضوء في صياغةٍ متوازنة تحترم السياق دون أن تنغلق عليه. تم توظيف الحجر والخشب والزجاج الملوّن بطريقة أكثر مباشرة، تعكس حيوية الموقع وتُعزز العلاقة بين الداخل والحركة الخارجية.

الفرع هنا لا يسعى إلى الانفصال عن محيطه، بل إلى الانخراط فيه بثقة، مقدّمًا تجربة تحافظ على أصالة الحرفة وتُعيد تقديمها بلغة معاصرة متزنة
