Deco, Reawakened
JAX DECO
Contemporary Art Deco shaped through a Saudi lens
JAX Deco reinterprets the elegance and precision of Art Deco through a contemporary Saudi expression, creating a residence defined by proportion, geometry, and sculptural depth within Diriyah’s JAX District.
The façade is conceived almost as a cut stone object. Faceted planes, sharp transitions, and vertically articulated surfaces create a jewel-like quality, allowing the elevation to continuously shift with the Najdi light. Subtle metallic accents are introduced with restraint, while the architecture itself carries the richness through its geometry, shadow, and material depth rather than applied ornament.
The result draws on the discipline and glamour of Deco without becoming decorative or nostalgic. Its relationship with Diriyah is equally interpretive, expressing Saudi identity through mass, materiality, rhythm, and light rather than literal historic references.
JAX Deco is a refined architectural statement where Deco precision meets the permanence of stone; faceted, elegant, and unmistakably contemporary.
